    Yes, I was approved for a 4000 credit limit today with citibank, my 2nd card with them. Heres my story with this card.

    Applied online, denied because "fingerhut" was reporting a charge off account on my transunion. I disputed with fingerhut and with transunion, and it came back deleted.

    Then, I got the denial letter in the mail, called for reconsideration, I faxed a copy of my clean TU report to citi.

    Called today, waited for like 12 min until the supervisor reviewed my app/credit report...and he said that he could approve me for a 4000 limit and that i would get my card in 7 days.

    I got to tell you I find it really amazing that you are the only person here who can be denied and the reconsidered and approved every time without fail. What did you do, talk sexy to them?

    Maybe that is just it....Ive been known to get what I want. But, furthermore. Ive delt with citi before. They will approve ANYONE that has NO negative credit information on their credit report. Since I was able to supply them with a clean report, they had no reason to turn me down.

    The only reason that i was denied was for the negative account, so they have to approve me if I prove them wrong and the report shows no negatives.

    Happy Valley is what Penn State University is known for. We are really good school and have a great football team. The Penn State tradition makes state college, pa a happy place.

    So, they call the city happy valley! (were also in the valley)

    And, what football team do you play for!!! OK, then why comment on something you know nothing about. AND, if they werent so great, why are we still in the big ten.

    They are still in the big 10 because that is the conference they are in. Just cause they sucked last year doesn't mean they are no longer in the big 10.
    And for your info, MS. on her back sexy talker, I do know about football and Penn State sucked last year.

    After the season Penn St. had last year, I think they changed the name of the conference from big10 to the big 10 and little 1.
