I have been a home owner since the beginning of JAN and the mortgage still isn't showing on ANY of my reports, any experiance out there?
Soup, I closed on my home July 2001 and it didn't start reporting until January 2002. Apparently it does take a little bit to get started.
If you close with a mortgage company. They sometimes sell the note to investors. That's probably why it takes so long to report. Because they have to find a permanent mortgage holder which sometimes take awhile.
I bet if I were late they'd report right away! LOL Sheesh, that long huh? Well, at least it'll be a little aged...how did it help/hurt your scores?
My local loan company came right out and said "WE ARE GOING TO SELL YOUR LOAN WITH-IN 30 DAYS" And they had a paper that said..."WE UNDERSTAND OUR LOAN WILL BE SOLD WITH-IN 30 DAYS"...and we had to sign it... S.O.P.
