Okay, I may have some good new for myself. Went in on Friday and talked to an electric company that had an old collection on me. Small town, I know the lady who runs the office. I paid the account and she said she would have it deleted. She sent me the letter in the mail and it says, "please delete, item paid." I told her before I left not to say anything about it being paid, just ask for deletion of the item with the cb's. She did the letter wrong so now I am wondering if the cb's will just update this thing as paid instead of deleting it as I wanted.

The lady will pretty much do anything for me, she is just a little screwy.

Any advice? What should I do?

if she will do anything for you, go in and have her writie the letter that you need (wait for it if necessary) and then it's over.

Write the letter yourself, take it in for her to sign.

This is the way I have always done it.
You can't trust them to say what you want.
You have to say it for them.
If you want anything done right you have to do it yourself.
