For those who have received a letter from a CA stating an account will be deleted, how long did it take before the account was removed?

It all depends on when the jerks feel like deleting it. As you remember, Gulf State sent a UDF to the 3 morons to remove the reinserted collection. Experian came off last week, TU never showed up and Equifax as of yesterday claims they still haven't received the UDF which is pure b.s. So, I had to start a dispute with Equifax. who, by the way, says it can take up to 30 - 90 days for a fax update to report.

I have had luck with a simple dispute- I settled with one CA for a delete, a month later it was still showing so I disputed "this account is out-dated" and they deleted it... it really kind of irritated me that I had to initiate the deletion (since it was part of the settlement agreement- in which I stated that they had 30 days to complete the removal), but it is better than waiting.
