He is reviewing the details and it appears I may be suing 3 collection agencies VERY soon. I'll let you know what he says about the validation/estoppel letters and them ignoring the letters but continuing to verify with the CRA's. Read what he says about collectors...this is too damn funny http://www.budhibbs.com/debt_collector.htm
Didn't you just settle with TU, Christi? I've been thinking seriously about talking to one of the lawyers in my office who practices mostly in federal court to see if he would be interested in these types of cases. I've got a pretty good paper trail and a file three inches thick on Experian's violations. It would just be soooo embarrassing to lay out all of the details of my past credit history. Several of the accounts were NOT mine, but a lot of them were/are...although nothing I have disputed to date has been accurate in its reporting. My life was very different six years ago than it is today. At any rate, I was thinking maybe I would wait until the reports look fairly good and then approaching him about it to see if this is something he would like to get involved in. L
Christi..his book says he is NOT an attorney, so unless he got his law degree since he wrote the book...... L
Let me clarify...Bud Hibbs (who owns the site) is NOT an attorney. Stewart Ransom Miller, attorney at law is the one who is mentioned in that page I gave a link to...he is that attorney I am dealing with.
hhhhhhhh!!!! Sorry! Have a really bad migraine tonight. This Bubb has a lot of good info on his site. I downloaded the book to read. Thanks for sharing it with us! L
Right, when saying Dallas I meant to say DFW area. He has a show or used to on KERA (public TV). He's good. Charlie
