First let me say thank you for all the valuable help I have received from everyone here. I really appreciate it. I need your help again on two fronts:

First: I need an action plan to have my judgement removed. I am very new at this so if anyone out there can lend a hand and help me with a plan of action I would appreciate it. Note: I no longer live in the state where the judgement was entered.

Second: How do I have lawsuits removed from my credit report. They are just lawsuits with no judgement entered. Yes I need another action plan for this one. And what is the procedure for taking an original creditor or collection agency to small claims court?

Please everyone pitch in on these I am in very deep and I need your expertise. Anyone feel free to contribute.....

For the judgement: I need to file a motion to vacate. In my state or the state where the judgement was issued? I guess I can find a pleading form letter for the appropriate state if I can find out which state that would be.

For the lawsuits that have been filed but no judgement entered:
I have no idea on this one.

I don't know anything about judgements, but hang in there. There are other people here who know lots!

There is a motion to vacate form. I believe breeze has it. It is in one of the threads. However it appears to be for the State of Virginia. I'm going to see if I can find a pleading form letter on the internet or some legal site that would be suitable for Maryland or New York.

For the cases that have no judgement yet.. I would find out if there has been a judgement. Once you konw this, then send a validation letter to the eople that filed for the case. Once that happens, then there are some cases that LK posted that says that this should stop the collection and court process in essence until they can prove the debt is really yours.. essentially questioning whether the case is even valid.

Robin, I'm in New York and can get you an example from the office tomorrow if you still need it...well...I might can. Two of the senior partners are coming back tomorrow so I might be swamped. Email me if you don't have any luck and I'll try to get it for you.

    Whyspers,

Just curious, what line of work are you in?

I'm a paralegal...formerly mostly real estate and probate, but I'm in a general practice since moving to NY, so a little of this and a little of that.
