Amazingly, true to her word, the lady at Equifax's business office that I spoke to yesterday, called gulf state and verified it should be removed. Gulf State sent a UDF on Feb.7th, but Equifax kept cliaming they never received it. So, now that Gulf State spoke the word delete, it has been permanently cloaked - never to return. I am now done with the highest ranking terrorist organisation on the Axis of Evil list. And, once again, all reports are clean.
Good on you, mate! I've been following your epic struggle with Gulf State - it gave me a lot of ideas. Thanks for fighting and for keeping us in the loop. Good luck on the next dragon to slay! Cheers, Tom
Congrats! You've taken down one of the largest terrorist organizations out there Now what? balance the national budget... solve world peace...
Now that you are "clean" I hope we all don't lose you from the CreditNet board. You are irreplaceable and have pushed the boundaries so that others may follow in your path. They still need you! Congrats on all your achievements. You should feel terrific right about now. Mist
Thanks Mist and the others above. It's funny should you mention leaving the board. This is what I posted earlier today to tmitchell: My credit repair journey was done in early January. Then gulf state reappeared, but is at the exit door, again. But this time it is permanent. I still visit here everyday to answer questions from newbies, that at one time I was asking. So, I repay all the valuable info and help I received here by passing on the info. I also will still ask a question now and then. And I find out about new credit card offers, and new BDD's ala Sam and MBNA and George with Citi. So don't go anywhere just because your own personal crusade is done. I'm not going anywhere.
You go, LKH! Uh, I meant, you stay, LKH! Way to go! Er, way to stay! Um. (Congratulations, and I'm glad you're not leaving!) Doc
Thanks, LKH....my battle has just begun with Gulf, and I hope to follow in your footsteps! Please stick around!!!
