Hello everyone, I stumbled across this forum in my search for information to help clean / remove information contained in my credit reports. I am impressed with the comraderie that is shown between members with a history of posting and participation in the discussions on this board. I like to poke a little fun at myself from time to time, as the subject line above will attest to. However I am a realist that is fully aware this is serious business and deserves the applaud / acclaim that should accompany each and every victory no matter how insignificant. There is also a time for consolation when a fellow member is not so successful in their endeavors. I am currently starting on the road and would like to make sure I get a handle on procedures and not make too many mistakes along the way. Are the archives a good source for material? Thanks.
Read EVERYTHING. I was a newbie here in May 2001 (not too long ago). I like to consider myself one of the fairly knowledgeable ones here so it doesn't take long.
If I don't reply it's because I don't have enough knowledge of the subject in question. I mostly congratulate people on there newly found credit or recent victories lol.
Welcome singledad. I'm also fairly new to the board and I can attest to it's usefulness. I have already learned quite a bit as I'm sure you will also in the ensuing weeks. What I've learned about navigating this board: Check your posts frequently. Even though you may select the email notification option you still need to check your posts regularly for replies. If a person does not click reply on your post you will not be emailed. Read the archives or previous message threads. THIS IS A GOLDMINE OF USEFUL INFORMATION. Utilize the search option for specific information. and last but not least ......if you are unsure where to start your credit fitness program.....You would most likely need to start with phase 1: the validation process....
I was just thinking about singledad and then thoughts of doubledad and tripledad ran through my head and I got to thinking that singledad aint so bad. ) Welcome aboard dad. You will fit right in. Grab a chair, take off your coat and stay awhile. Good luck on your credit journey. -Peace, Dave
