Friggin TU blocked online access to my credit report! It says it couldn't verify my identity. Bullsh#t. I entered the same info I always enter. Quite odd since it occured a day after a TU rep asked me on the phone if I was a lawyer.
Just called them and asked status of disputes. They said I have 14 items in dispute! He said they were associated with a BK. I disputed the BK on March 4 because the liabilites amount was wrong ($0). The took it upon themselves to enter a dispute for the 14 accounts that are showing as listed in BK. Can they do that? I'm just curious why they are doing it this way when before, they simply verified with BK court only. Does the fact that they suspect I am a lawyer have something to do with this? Hmmmmmmm.
Anyone know how to access TU report online other than worthknowingor TUs site? Worthknowing isn't working and hasn't been for 2 weeks.
Sounds like you may have 2 files on you. I can't access my online TU report for a couple a weeks, so I finally called and ordered one over the phone, sure enough I had 2 reports. This has happened every month for the past 3 months. I had a CO that was deleted, but every month it goes back on under my maiden name, making a new file for me. I have a letter from the Creditor saying deleted date 11/14/01. I have had to fax the letter over every month. Should I sue them, if so for what? I called yesterday, they blamed it on the creditor, I called the creditor and they say TU has NEVER contacted them. Although they can't send me a letter. But "if subpenad (sp), they would be more than happy to show up".
I've had 2 reports once, one was under my regular name and the other was under my name w/middle initial. Thought these dudes went by SSN alone???
SSN is like the LAST thing they look at. If your name matches your address, it must be you, according to them.
