Ok... I am sooo excited I can hardly stand it... my score shot up 134 points at TU-- officially in the 500 club (exp in 600)!!! but wait, I don't want to get ahead of myself... does TU take off accounts while in dispute, just mark them as "in dispute" or do they generally not do anything to the tradeline while in dispute?? How about equifax?? I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MYSELF HERE>>>
I disputed 3 accounts, two which I was fairly sure would come off - but not an ABSOLUTE... these are the ones that are off my report now, The 3rd account I disputed is still there and has not been updated with an "in dispute" notation - I have disputed this one before and am afraid they are ignoring my current dispute. In any case, I am happy as a lark - just concerned I am jumping the gun and the accounts are only off because they are currently in dispute.
Way to go Kit!!! Just curious, how could TU be in the 400's and Exp in the 600's?? I know the three are awkward, but never knew they would be THAT far off. Congrats again!
Thanks dfwgt...I know it was bizarre, all I can say is that TU had at least 4 additional collections entries which were not on my other reports-- and they still have more than any other. Before my TU jump, I was all over the board TU: 451 I believe, EXP 613 (up 23 or 24 points in last few days, and EQ 550 or 60 something (no recent changes on report and don't want to pay the money to see it until I think there will be)... I am happy to be in the 500 club-- at the very least!! By the way, any knowledge about how TU handles entries while in dispute?? still terrified the jump is only temporary...
On my TU dispute, they havent even notated they are in dispute, and the score has not jumped... it did go up 6 points, but that is probably for some random reason.
