Does anybody have experience with or knowledge of IndyMac Bank Home Lending? The IndyMac-related posts I've read so far on this board have dealt mainly with turndowns by them. Thanks, wajaba
As it stands now, I will probably get my mortgage through them in about 6-8 months. They have been real helpful to me regarding what qualifications I need for a mortgage. About a month or 2 ago, one of their agents whom I am working with told me she could absolutely get me a 95% loan at an 8% rate. She said to get that rate, my scores would have to be at least 600 and any existing collections would need to be paid. They also require you to be at least 2 years post-BK, preferrably 4 years.
tmitchell, Thanks for the info. Also, would yours be for a conventional loan or FHA? I noticed on their website that they only offer FHA loans in a handful of states, and mine's not one of 'em... Thanks, wajaba
Conventional. At the time, they didn't offer FHA in PA. They do now so that's probably to my advantage once my student loans are rehabbed in 3 months.
