Called experian to dispute the twelve different ways they spelled my name and the 10 different addresses they listed.. do they actually take the 30 days to verify this. checked report and it just stated these are in dispute... i thought they just updated right away.. the rep said i would be receiving an updated copy of my report in 7-10 days???
I disputed mine online while they were still allowing this many months ago. The errors were removed within a couple of days.
Interesting, when I disputed my personal information it was removed then and there. I had several varied spellings of my name and a few wrong addresses. Got a report two weeks later and they were all removed. EdG
I personally delivered my personal page with corrections to credit data southwest (exp. affiliate) on Dec. 24th. Mid Jan. I was told it was in the process of being updated. As of March 24th they still had no updated it. I sent an email to their atty. who I have to deal with if I have disputes because of my previous lawsuit. I sent the email on Sunday afternoon, and by noon yesterday, it was all updated.
I disputed by phone yesterday. When I looked at CE right after talking with the NASTY lady, each address showed investigation in progress. I just checked today and they went poof.
thats what i did today. disputed by phone checked right after and under investigation.. hopefully gone tomorrow.
What number are you calling to do the phone dispute? Can this be done by fax as well? Which fax number is the current one?
