Checking my credit expert page, I noticed that my score went from 652 to 734 in one day. This happened after I lost about the same number of points in one day several months ago. In examining my credit report, I noticed the only change was that an account which had been reported twice (which I thought was helping since it has a 5K limit and -0- balance and is eight years old) is now reported only once. The removal of the second account actually lowered my available revolving credit from 69 to 66.
I have an account reporting twice and now once. I lost only 14 points. I hope daveberk you are a lightening rod so that I may be hopeful to get back the points and more! Congrats!!!!
