Many of you know may know that I have been searching for a credit card (or two). My credit recovery project is at the point where I need to establish positive trade lines.

I attempted Cap One Secured and was denied. I even had a friendly discussion with Mr. Cooke and found that Cap One just couldn't help me.

Orchard, on the other hand, gave me a MC with $500 CL UNSECURED.

So my question is....what should be my tactic to lower my APR and increase my CL? Should I cycle card usage, max it, pay it off each month?

No.....no experience at all with them. Never. Even Mr. Cooke couldn't explain why.

Thank you for the congrats though. I am happy that I didn't have to go the Cross Country or the sub sub sub prime route.

    Congrats toothman!!

To get better terms, use the card! Carry a little bit of a balance, at least part of the time. Never ever pay late or go over the limit, and pay more than the minimum.
