I just got hubby's Equifax completely clean and his FICO is 784 according to credit watch. I'm wondering if anybody pulls just Equifax so he can get a decent prime card. Thanks!
Target Visa pulls Equifax...and lessee....Direct Merchants Bank does as well...and I think MBNA does. Congrats on getting your hubby's reports clean! L
Oh, I meant to mention, I would definately have him apply with Direct Merchants Bank. They gave my hubby a $9,900 line of credit at 14.9 and he had a bk from 98 and about 8 accounts that should have been listed as included under bk, but were instead at that time listed as chargeoffs. I think his score was in the upper 600's. Anyway...he got the card a couple of months ago and called them for another reason this week and when they asked if there was anything else they could help him with, he asked for a lower interest rate. They gave him 12.4 or something like that.
I'm in WI, Christi. Thanks everyone for the responses. I've been checking that website that lists creditors and who they pull too. That's really helpful. Now, if I could just get my own reports clean....(sigh)
