It's 5:21am here in Calif, I'm just sitting here checking my CR's and my TU score DROPPED 31 POINTS in 2 weeks!!!!!!!! What the F**K!! How does this happen? I've had FIVE COLLECTION ACCOUNTS REMOVED!! Also, a new inquiry showed up this morning from a company called CEDENT(anyone heard of them?), obviously without my knowledge and/or permission(ill be disputing this immediately). Could ONE INQUIRY cause a 30 point reduction? How does this happen? I've heard of numbers varying from CreditExpert and PriVista etc... but this score came from TU's own website!!! Somebody give me some advice - PLEASE!!! George, let me guess, RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR!!! RIGHT?

Re: What the F**K is up with TU??!! Don't feel bad. I think most of us has been hit with TU's illogical scoring methods. I started out with 12 derrogs on TU...had nine deleted and only went up something like 15 points. Just had another one removed and it jumped almost 40 points and now has dropped by 11 because I have a new credit card reporting. I figure in another year I'll look great, but it sure is depressing sometimes...lol. L

It's just VERY frustrating, I've been at this since March 1st and I'm beginning to see the "fruits of my efforts" ie: 10pt increase in Experian score in same 2weeks. I realize that this HAS GOT TO BE an error, but when you see it in black and white, it's almost demoralizing!! I know I've gotta keep my head up and keep forging ahead - which I will do! Thanks again

I'll just keep BUGGING THE "MESS" OUT OF THEM!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH "YOUR" INQUIRY DISPUTE!! QUESTION??? ANYONE. IF YOU PUT ONE OF THOSE "OPT OUT" NOTATIONS ON YOUR REPORT, THEY CANNOT ALLOW PEOPLE TO "PULL" YOUR CREDIT, RIGHT? DOESN'T THAT PREVENT THEM FROM BASICALLY "MAKING MONEY OFF OF YOU?"

It reads as follows: Date: 04/09/2002 Inquiry Type: Individual Subscriber Name: CENDANT I dont have any accounts with them or any knowledge of what they do. Nor have I ever received any promotional offers or marketing info from them.
Re: What the F**K is up with TU??!! Cendant has pulled my reports, too. That was about 2 years ago. They were offering the PrivacyGuard program, which monitors your credit reports. I signed up at the time as it was promoted by Capital One. Cendant will sell your personal information to the highest bidder. Their PrivacyGuard is the worst credit monitoring service I've seen. Plus, they will pull HARD INQs which will injure your credit score for months. Saar

Re: What the F**K is up with TU??!! You don't, but you can screw them back by discontinuing your membership and by disputing what they charged for their disservice. As soon as you get their GLB privacy policy in the mail, make sure to opt-out of everything and mail it back. Saar
