I have written a cease and desist over a year ago because of their harrassment. Now that I have found this website I was advised to write them to prove that I have any debt with them. They just wrote me again and said that "you are the parties that owe the amounts listed". I have asked them to give me proof that I owe them anything and they simply say "yes, you do" but never send me any proof. They keep verifying the info to the credit bureaus but they won't give me any info with signatures or anything. What can I do to get them to give me proof! I have already threatened them with legal actions. They don't seem to care. They just ignore what I am asking them and give me the info they want to give. You can't tell right now, but I am pulling my hair out!! Thanks for the help.
Sue them. $1,000 for each failure to validate, $1,000 for not placing the item in dispute on your CR, $1,000 for each time they validated. If you can, do this in Federal Court.
