Denied for CitiBank AA Silver Mastercard two weeks ago. Sent a Planet Feedback letter to Citibank asking them to reconsider my original request:

Very nice lady called me today and said they reconsidered the application and approved me for $1k Credit Limit (what I asked for originally). I put in the planet feed back letter that I liked the company and would LOVE to do business with them. The only accounts on my TU were a paid charge-off and a Genesis Account that I put in dispute a long time ago and still have no update on it. (Been 40-60 days now).

I'm so excited to finally have a prime card with more than $300 credit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I once had alot of credit cards but after some hard times, it all went away. Lady said I should receive my card within 7-10 days.

    Congrats!
Citibank seems to be pretty accomodating in the "credit seeker" area.
It's good that you put in the extra effort after you were initially denied.

darkdoj, Congrats! That one account, Genesis, you need to ask for deletion based on the 30 day time frame. Charlie

My TU score is right in the 560-600 range (Transunion is what they pulled). The lady said that the system automatically kicked it out with that score, but because of what was on my report (everything recent is excellent so far) they could approve it for my requested amount. She said it should've gone through anyway, the internal scoring gave me a good score...

    Let's Review:

    TU score 560-600 +/- 20
    Denied at website
Planet Feed back (http://www.planetfeedback.com) to Citibank
Reconsideration Yesterday by Citibank (took only 2 days to get reconsideration)
    Approved for asking credit limit.

BTW In regards to Genesis, I have bigger plans for them. They deleted themselves from EXP and EQ but refuse to delete themselves from TU. Even after they told me they can't verify the account and even after they sent me a fake verification (after I called them back and said they already couldn't provide me with validation and to remove the account this paper comes in the mail with my name, SSN, address and their name). They have no proof I ever used the account because I never owned the account, never had the account, never wanted the account. So no their stuck and are going to be up one big creek if they keep messing with me.

Sent three of them, all I get back is a letter saying thank you for your business. Bunch of loosers, I tried to call once to explain it to them and the guy on the phone said he was the supervisor and that I was a deadbeat and should pay them their money so they can get this over with. I told him I wanted the corp office number, he gave me a number that goes to some place up north and was just an answering machine for Genesis, so I called back and spoke with a REAL supervisor Debbie who took care of it for me (atleast on two of three reports anyway). TU will delete soon, just got off the phone with them. They haven't gotten anything back from Genesis.
