I got this card in the mail today with my name on it and 16 digits like a department store card or credit card but it is neither. Yet it claims you can take "cash on demand" with it and comes with a starting limit of $6500.

Would anyone know more about this card? If it doesn't report to the CRAs could this be a good card to take out cash with?

The impression I got is that you can order crap out of a catalog with their 'card'... I think they charged an 'annual fee' as well... it was funny, the statement said... "we will charge your fee in about 2 months"....

ABOUT 2 MONTHS?? how professional is that?

    SHREDDED.

I just read this thing. It actually says "We will charge your annual fee in around two months."

The annual fee is $199. The cash on demand is $20 to $150. It also has an option to add insurance if in the first six months you get behind more than 3 payments.

At least it doesn't report unless you ask for that option.

I just cut up the plastic. I ain't this desperate.

I wonder how you would get any cash on demand anyways, it is not part of any system, such as VISA, PLUS, etc etc...

    Cash on Demand

It has something to do with a check. Very confusing.
