UPS just showed up - Pete's a nice guy too! Amazing - Cap One Platinum Card with combined limits! Geez! I just finished with Mr. Cooke Monday pm! Gonna PFB to thank them now - amazing amazing! I am stunned! I a delighted! arrrfing to you all - dogman
I PFB Capital One last night and Mr Cooke called me around noon time today and answered all my questions regarding my accounts. He is a very polite gentleman that know's how to keep the customers happy. I asked him if he stops by Creditnet.com and he said yes, when he gets enough time on his hands. He also mentioned that it is very nice to receive compliments via PFB regarding Capital One. I think the big boss looks at the letters too. Anyways, I think Capital One and Mr Cooke deserve nice letters as they help all of us get better terms on our credit cards and give us good service. Thumb's up for Capital One.
Yeah Buddy! Fantastic. I completely agree, stunned and delighted are appropriate words. Congratulations Dog. Hoooooowl. -Peace, Dave
Kewl, dogman! Way to go. I just PFB's Mr. Cooke to bt my KMart Gold and close it and combine my Visa Gold and my Platinum Mastercard with my other Platinum Mastercard. Sure hope it works! L
whyspers - thx! I thought I would snap you back because I think they cannot roll the KMART into your other card account. I believe it is a cobranding requirement - in other words, KMART didn't want their customers getting snagged from other Cap One accounts. BUT, it is worth a shot, best! dogman
I know they can't combine it, but couldn't I still bt it? Seems to me it would be just like bt'ing anything else to Cap One from any other card wouldn't it? Now that I think about it...I think you are right. Oh well...two cards are better than the five I started out with...lol. L
Dog, You deserve this and more. Summmmmer time in the Bay area is a perfect time to have a platinum card. Best to you as well. Whyspers, sounds like things worked out for you by calling back, congrats to you also. Capital One seems to have found a customer satisfaction gold mine in PFB and Mr. Cooke. They sure have made some happy campers here. -Peace, Dave
Nave - my week started off 9 am Mon - pacific time - with Mr. Cooke's callback. Monday pm, Mr. Cooke called back to say he had the good news about combing the cards solved. He said it would take a couple of days to complete. TUES pm - nothing. (24 hrs) WED - 2:30 PM - Platinum Card handed to me by UPS. (less than 48 hrs from Virginia to California - in my hands - already activated.) Stunning to think that Capital One has set the standard for ANY BUSINESS this week. Nobody else can come close - other than maybe Southwest Airlines - arriving 15 minutes EARLY! Its just fantastic to think about... pawsing for a smoke - aroo - dogman
