Hello, all! I received my Amex Blue card today and was surprised to see that it was clear! I thought they were going back to the solid cards. It's a really stunning and sophisticated looking card...I can't wait to go out and use it. This is a really exciting day for me. It's taken almost two years to clean up my credit reports after the bureaus accidentally merged some of my brother's credit card and student loan accounts into my reports. My credit was fairly clean (a couple of 30 day lates) but my brother's credit was quite negative, so the merged reports were quite messy. I have a file cabinet full of paperwork from the cleanup efforts, and I'm just glad this board was around to provide advice and support through the frustration of dealing with the evil bureaus. Now, two years later, my credit reports are finally rid of my brother's accounts. There are a couple of inaccuracies that I'm still trying to resolve, but they are very minor. Amex Blue was the card I was always looking forward to getting throughout this whole horrible experience, and just seeing it sitting here next to me is a wonderful feeling. I keep looking over at it, not believing that this day is finally here! For those of you who are battling the bureaus, hang in there and just remember to keep at it. Don't give up. There were more than a few nights during my whole process that I cried myself to sleep thinking that this nightmare would never end, but it finally has. All the anger I would feel toward the bureaus just made me fight all the harder to get my reports accurate. Now back to my regularly scheduled lurking. artchick98
Congratulations!! There's no rhyme or reason to who gets clear and who gets the white ones, I think. Mine is white, and my Mom's is clear - we got them about 3 months apart. They both work fine
