I am in the process of filing my very first lawsuit. Is the agent of record the same as a corporation's registered agent? I am confused!

Secondly, if I am supposed to serve the registered agent, what if the reg agent is another corporation? I thought I was supposed to serve an individual.

    Experts--please help!

Lisa, you serve the registered agent (same as agent of record). Often time, the registered agent will be a corporation. You just put

    Company You are Suing
    by their registered agent: Corporation
    Corporation's Address
    City, State, Zip

    Good luck!
