CA is killing me!

    Need some advice:

I have 16 separate entries from a CA that are hitting my Eqfx report. Only 1 is near the SOL. The amounts average only $50-60 and are mostly from the same medical group originally. As you know, this is killing my report.

    Questions:

If I follow the "no more than 2 disputes at a time" rule, it will take me forever to get them all cleared (if they clear at all).

Is it better to try and get these consolidated?

    How would you handle this?

    Thanks!

I would stagger them. Send one letter snailmail. one online (if applicable), one fax. Send them out about once a week or so. This will minimize your time, and I don't think that they will red flag you. Charlie

Instead of disputing the accounts with Equifax, it would be quicker to start at the root of the problem. Have you sent validation letters? CAs aren't too bright and will normally rack up violations during the validation process.

Violations...Yeah...1 violation would wipe the whole amount owed...

    Any other thoughts?

Here is an idea the industry would love divide the amount you owe by 4 and break it down into 4 different Neg. accounts so it will really knock your score down.

Re: CA is killing me! HELP please..

Actually, I need to ask...Should I attempt to validate 1 by 1 or ALL together?
