Love, I think it is. It allows you to monitor and track your activities while you are disputing. Charlie
And I have a ton of things to dispute. So I probably will subscribe. But just in case I dispute something and it gets deleted and reinserted (boy, am I optimistic), I dont want my subscription to the service to be construed as the 5-day reinsertion notice. Any thoughts?
It was worth it for the six months I had it. But then it quit working and they were unable to fix it. When there are problems, they don't call back or answer email. Service is poor. During those six months, I never got an email update on anything. It is a good service and worth it when it works.
Love, Try it risk free for 30 days. Make sure that you cancel on day 29 or 30. That way you can see if you like it. I hope Doc doesn't constue that as an advertisement? Charlie
charlieslex is correct, try the free 30 and see if you like it. I've been pleased and i always get my email alerts. I dont' think you'll run into the problem of the 5 day reinsertion via email. I tried and was sold, got the 1 yr subcription, but mines costed 79.95. One other thing i like is being able to track when a dispute is either removed + or - If only TU could have a monitoring service. Mostly i think Ga is Equifax dominant, but this company wanted to pull EXP, i asked them would they allow me to use the report from my EXp monitoring service instead of them pulling a Hard Inq, and i explained it would be the same report. I was suprised they agreed and the report didn't hurt me as much if the Co pulled it. Very rare a Company would do that....
I have tried their 30-day trial twice already, dont want to get stuck with it. " You have already has a free trial, we cannot refund your membership". I heard that about Privista.
I keep telling people that they should pay for it, and then as soon as they are done with it, call and cancel and they will refund the pro-rated amount to you. 64.95/12=5.41 per month. Use it for a couple of months and then cancel. I can't use it right now because I keep getting errors, and I had to cancel, but I called and they refunded my money.
I had a friend that kept having problems. come to find out it was due to advertising pop ups. Those ads are as annoying as CRA's and CA's. Charlie
I have tried since 4/15/02 to get on to CE. Oh, actually I get on...but it's all downhill from there: 0's all the way across...tried the online support - No reply. Called 4 times now. Every excuse is pulled out. One even suggested to sign up again as "maybe it didn't take the first time". Tried that...no workie. To me, EQ's Credit Watch is a better product. And I disputed online and had deletes quickly. I'd still love to get CE working though. Anyone have suggestions?
You don't need a membership to dispute items and to continually check your report. Use this link and you can view/dispute your report at anytime. You DO NOT get your score though. http://www.experian.com/consumer/ca...on?code=DISPUTE
That one did not work for me, but this one did: https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/CAPIDRegistration.jsp You have to have a Experian report to input to dispute there....
8427 points lost! My CW has not worked at all...as you can see above...until now. I pulled up CW today and I get this message: "Your score has gone down 8427 points since 05/18/2002" LOL! I am not kidding about this! CW cannot get their service to work with my info...Anyone else have this luck?
