    today is the 3 month mark since the last time I requested a increase via the website. Is it safe to click that increase button again? If I get rejected do I have to wait another 3 months to click it or risk getting an inquiry??

    The past two times I clicked on the button it tells me NO and that a report from TU was pulled. I don't care about TU anyway but I liked it better when you use to click on the button, if you weren't automatically approved, they would send you to a form to fill out....only after you filled out the form did they do a hard inquiry. Oh well....

    I've had a Classic Visa with Citibank for 10 years now and I've only gotten 2 increases. The first one was when my account went from secured to unsecured ($500 increase to $800) and then like a year ago from $800 to $1200. Talk about Pathetic but whatever.....I need that account because it's my oldest trade so. I'll never get rid of this card, unless they get rid of me! :)

    What I should do is close my Citibank Platinum account and transfer the balance/limit over to this card. I've been afraid to do this for fear they'll screw things up and I'll loose my 10 year trade on my reports.

    There's no risk in clicking the button, either it's going to tell you that you've been granted an increase or it's going to ask you to apply for one. If you don't want an inquiry, don't apply.

    No, some people don't get what we get. Some people get an inquiry if they even click on the link. For a while I was scared to click on it at all.

    Right! just wait a while and try again. After your next statement updates. Use the card a lot, and make big payments.

    I got all my Citibank Credit limit increase without any hard inquiry except Sony Card. I think my Sony Card has over 10K of credit limit and they can't do increase without filling the form. I got my AT&T Universal, Dividend, ClickCredit limit increase.

    ClickCredit $6500---> $8000
    Dividend $2500--> $3500
    AT&T Universal $8500 -->$10,500.

    Just got another one!! It's been 3 months since the last one. $1,200 - now have over $8,000 CL, I started out with a $4,000 CL.

    Thanks, Citi.

    I like you too!! :)

    Yes, log into your account, then you will see the green bars that have the drop down menus - just move the cursor over the one that says "manage my account" - when it drops down, you will see the link for CL increase. If there is a form to fill out don't do it - you will get a hard inquiry! If you have an automatic increase, it will say "congratulations!" and tell you how much your increase is. Then you click on the "accept" button, and when your account updates, it will be there.

    They like you to use the account a lot, and make big payments. Carrying a balance for a while and then paying it off should get just about anyone an increase, except for George, LOL.
