okay, ya'll my court date with experian is Tuesday. the violations are as follows: verified an account (judgment) when it was paid 2X refused to send copyy of procedures used to verify account. reported student loan incorrectly as garnished and verified this incorrect informatin 2x deleted an account and reinserted it without notice This is what I am taking to court: 1) copy of the FCRA 2) copies of all letter and CRRR 3) copies of credit reports 4) denial letter (for damages) 5) a copy of the letter from carla blair, saying they did investigate and everything is accurate (not) 6) documentation that the accounts are being reported incorrectly from sources. anything else.... should i make myself a little cheat sheet. BTW, they have not called to settle, should i call them? Just a little nervous, even though i know i should win. TIA for the help.
Don't call them. You've got your paper trail and proof all lined up. You'll be fine. You should have no problems. Good luck!
thanks LKH, just, seems as though everybody else gets to settle for deletions and stuff.... i really got nervous when i got the letter from carla blair, but my dh says that this is the "smoking gun" , them saying it is correct, when it is clealy not.
proof, as described in another thread . that would be the fcra section that says"court of competent jurisdiction" (sorry don't have my fcra copy close by) what about opinion letters, anything besides wollman?
