I have a secured mastercard with DMB since Nov 2001. They still have not reported my account. Anyone know how long it will take for them to report or should I call them? Also, any feedback about this company, will they ever convert to non secured after excellent payment history?

I have heard it takes them about 6 months to report it... so you may want to call them at this point... Also they consider unsecuring the card at 12 months.. I have had a card with them since January.. I have not had a problem with them, and I like them better then my other cards, so far.

DMB reported mine right away when I got their Gold MC 3 years ago. However, they have been slack in reporting recently. They went from reporting monthly to reporting every 2-3 months.

Call & ask to speak to their credit department. If they claim to have sent it, you'll have to fax a request to their Credit Unit to provide you a copy of the UDF.

DMB has a 2 month lag time in reporting to the credit Bureaus but they do report monthly, at least in my case. I really like this card as I have had no problems and have received nice credit line increases every six months.

JKG, how do you get nice credit line increases with DMB? I have had my DMB account almost 2 years now and only received $250 increase. Did your account start out as a secured card? My card was secured for one year then unsecured and they gave me a $250 credit line increase. I think even if the account is unsecured they still treat the account like slime because it was once a secured card. I wonder if this account is going to be one of those " once subprime always subprime" cards. I hate those kind of cards. I was subprime with Capital One four years ago and now I am prime with them.

I've had them since Jan this year...still not reporting.

I'll have to call and find out, but so far they've been great.

I received a pre-approved offer from DMB around two years ago. My only negative is a BK. Everything else is stellar. However, one of the credit bureaus (Ican't remember which one) had merged info from someone elses report with mine. FOR ONCE IT WAS SOMEONES GOOD CREDIT!!!! GO FIGURE! In any event, that may have given me a boost. I received a Titanium card with a $3,800 limit. I have called every six months for CL increases. They would increase my CL by 20% each time. As soon as the 20% increase was more than a $1,000, they capped at $1,000. I now have a Platinum card with a $7,100 limit. I think there is an issue in general with secured cards. I have a CAP 1 that I've had for three years that I've only been able to increase the CL to $2,100 and they still won't waive their retarded fee,,, Wait, I think I just offended retarded people. CAP1 is much less intelligent than a retard.
