I just sent Chexsystems a final notice before complaint is filed with FTC for failure to validate 2 entries on my report. I'll keep everyone posted to the outcome. I'm going to give them about a week to see what they say. If after a week there is still no response, I'm complaining to the FTC!
give them a call. They actually answer the fones n stuff. After i called and bitched, it seems my baddies disappeared. (at least for now)
sam, I've sent them 5 letters about the baddies, and they failed to respond. I don't want to call and have my dumbass mouth say something stupid. It's just me, though. *actually, now that I think about it, i could call to see if they are in receipt of the fax, right?*
Ok, I finally got the nerve to call them and asked if they got the fax. The rep told me that they get ALOT of faxes per day and it would take a few hours to locate just one. I basically told him that if the entries werent removed today, that I would file a complaint with the FTC for their failure to follow the law. He told me that there isn't any negative information on the report anymore and that they sent letters to me stating such. Oh well, I guess I have 1 report completely clean now! LOL
Yay, Erica! You go! Would you care to post a copy of the first letter you sent to them - or just give me the jest of what you said? I need to send these butt-heads a letter myself as soon as my husband gets his Chexsystems report.
