Just pulled my Equifax report - the remaining 3 inquiries (all from 2 months ago) are gone! I had 12 total as of 3 months ago!
I should be so lucky. I just moved to Austin and Southwestern Bell pulled my EX when I called to get the phone turned on. Are they supposed to specifically say "we're going to pull your credit"?
That's what I have been posting for the last week or so. I have now had 4 of 6 since Jan. removed. The 2 that are remaining are from early May and early April. I assume the April inquiry will be gone in the next couple of weeks.
I've been following your posts and was hoping I'd see the same thing and tonight it happened. I'm curious about what is causing it.
I have no clue as to why they are doing this. It is only the hard inq's that are being deleted. So far, all the soft have remained.
Back in early May when I was applying for an auto loan at carmax, I had several inquiries on my report. When I pulled my report the next day, all of the inquiries prior to 5/3 (the date I applied @ carmax) dropped off. But, carmax sent my info to 5 banks and so I had 5 new inq's. Either way, I netted out at less inquries though which was nice (I had more than 5 to begin with)
