I heard on the radio that Allstate was going to start pulling CR's for insurance policies. Of course low scores either no insurance or higher premiums. zI looked on their website, but it wasn't on their news releases. Charlie
I'm in Arizona and Allstate has always pulled a credit report when my new policy is to commence (every 6 mos). I notice they pull TU.
They cannot do it if you are already a policyholder. Its for new enrolees after X date. You know it will be expensive if: 1 - you have a BK on your report and, 2 - you live in EAST LA or in the barrios and, 3 - you have a classic 1956 Porsche speedster that you park on the street because private parking is too much, and you leave the top down - LA, and 4 - you have twin teenage sons who borrow the car to cruise late at nights.... Expect to pay a premium ...hehe finest regards to all - dogman
they always do this in georgia. They base your policy rate (im talking renters insurance here) on your credit score.
