    Hi,

A few months ago I posted about a CA sending me a computer print out as validation for a debt.
In March I sent them them another validation letter and the Wollman letter and they have never responded.
Well today when I checked my mail I got a demand for money letter.
I thought they couldn't contact you once they received the validation letter and if they did they can be fined or is that one of the other letters.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks! April

You could sue for a 1000 on trying to collect with out validating.

I would send them an estoppel and 15 days later an Intent to Sue letter. Charlie

But do this ONLY if you intend to follow thru because obviously they are unable to validate this. So, if you send an intent to sue letter and they still don't validate the debt, then what will you do?

How do I go about that?

You can get a copy of the estopple and intent to sue letters on this board. When the time is up you file in small claims and have them served. Chances are they will settle before it gets to court considering the fact that they know they can't validate and they will be aware of their $1000. violation if they aren't already.
