I disputed 16 entries all from a single CA after sending a validation letter to them...Funny though: Experian at first stated "remains" (meaning 'validated', correct?) THEN, the next day, I send a nastier, 2nd letter to the CA and the following day, Experian reports as "updated" and they are gone from my report! I'm not sure who removed them...EXP or the CA. How can I know for sure? Or more importantly, how do I make sure that they don't place them back on? I have been having trouble with viewing my EFX report ever since I cancelled mine (to try and get the $24.95 deal), so I don't know whether they were removed from EFX as well...I suppose I could call. Has anyone had anything similar happen?
I have never had a problem disputing inquiries on EQ. I call and dispute no more than 2 at a time. I have done it so often that I think the automated girl on the phone has a crush on me. Charlie
Sorry...let me clarify: These were collections, not inquiries. How does the automated phone thing work?
