I need help - please. I received a response from TU - I'm afraid I have received the frivolous mark. The one that did it was a dispute of NCO. It's paid - please don't go there. I sent a letter for them to provide who what when where did they verify what they claimed to verify. And they responded that my request was frivolous. I have a lot more than this - I have worked mine and my husband's since Aug 2001. Great strides - but now I'm down to the last few strongholds and need expertise help - less expensive than Lex.
Did you ask... WHO THEY CALLED...COMPANY NAME AT WHAT NUMBER AT WHAT ADDRESS WHAT ADDRESS DID THE MAIL IT TO WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE PERSON TALKED TO OR WROTE TO
Call them. When I had duplicate judgements on my report and I disputed them online. They sent me a letter saying that they are a factual matter and they won't investigate. I called them up and very calmly told them they better investigate them or else and I swear that the guy took them off right then and there. You may have to quote a bit of law to them but they are much easier to work with on the phone than EQ.
My letter started " I have been around and around with your company . . . noted the account again . . . stated that I did not know how to better state the problem . . . since you have not given me names of persons with thier business address contacted for re-verification . . . I assume . . not able to verify info disputed . . reasonable time blah blah. Love Melvina My letter was rec'd 05/24/02. Their letter dated 06/05/02 and all they gave me was that they had previously verified and I could contact NCO at the number they printed.

It's a collection account (last one) and it's been paid - please don't raz on that one. I paid several years ago - probably three. The dollar amount that was in collections was $129 - paid Emergency Room Doctor's bill 04/1997 DOL. I didn't want to HAVE to go to the validation letters or the nutcase series. I just didn't.
Nutcase via fax or CRRR Would anyone be able to answer which avenue is best served for delivery of the nutcase letter?
