Dave- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! How long have you had the card? How much do you have utilized? I've been click that button for the past 6 months and NOTHING, actually now that I think of it, I got it 12/26/01, so that makes it 5 1/2 months, NM I need to wait another 15 days. lol
I got both my Citi cards last November. One was an instant approval for Platinum Select with a $5,000 credit limit and one was approval in the mail for the AA Gold with a $9,000 limit. I converted the AA Gold to a Dividend Platinum Select and then last month to another standard Platinum Select to get a better rate. I got a $1,200 automatic increase a couple of months ago on the original Platinum Select and then got the $1,500 just now on the second card. The balance is $1,300 right now but I pay it in full each month.
For what it's worth I got the increase on my first card on the day my sixth month statment closed. On the second card nothing on the day of the sixth or seventh month. My seventh month statement closed on the sixth. I tried it on the 6th and 7th of this month and got nothing, then today on the 11th I got the increase.
You will. If you'll go back and read some of my posts from a year ago you'll see how bad my credit was. Today I have some great cards and an approved mortgage! This place works wonders.
Should I try mine.. approved on December 5 , 01 2,500 used $900 for ZERO percent, since paid off next statement due date June 17th - owe 0
Yes, this place does work wonders on the credit report!!! I just have to keep working at it. Congrats again!!
Congrats. There definitely is something exciting about reaching the 10,000 limit. Even if you don't use it, it is a good feeling when people trust you with large amounts of unsecured credit.
