I received the guaranteed approval from cap one with a reservation code that you could enter online. I did this and they said they would give an answer in 7-10 business days. They can give a 30 second response for a random online app;ication but take 2 weeks for pre approved. Is there a number i can check the status.
Re: WTF capital one I know what you mean...My recent Cap One card (took a long time and it was a pre-approval. I called and asked right away and the lady said I should get it...it will come in 7-10 days. I think it took a bit longer seemed to anyway) . Re: WTF capital one JR- I got the same "guaranteed" pre approval. I went ahead and put the codes in, but I think I am Cap one Blacklisted, I had a charge off with them 4 years ago. I don't even know why I got the pre approval. I got the same 7-10 day response answer. Do you know if they pulled a report on you? WHich one?
Re: WTF capital one I'm not quite sure who they pulled, although from what I hear they usually do all 3. But if you were black listed I don't think they would have sent you pre approval.
Re: WTF capital one JR- I checked all 3 reports and they haven't pulled any. I applied 5 or 6 months ago and they didn't pull one then, just a letter saying "previous history with us" was the denial reason. Re: WTF capital one Got a preapproval last month, ignored it. Got one last week, ignored it. Got one Monday of this week...fell for it. Applied Tuesday, called today (Thursday) and found out it was approved! Forgot to ask the CL or when the card would arrive in all my excitement.
Re: WTF capital one I called yesterday and it said it was in review and I would receive notification by July 2. I just called again, and now it says I will receive notification by June 25. Guess I get an EXPEDITED denial...lol.
Re: WTF capital one No KHM they told me july 3rd originally now june 26th so I'm right behind you...lol , but seriously they said on my pre approval that I would get a minimum of $500 Guranteed....I don't need to tell you wha they can do with that toy card if that's what they offer.
Re: WTF capital one Jr.- My app. said I was guaranteed $300 plus 0% BT offer good til 1/03. It said my max CL would be $5K...yeah right..lol. Good luck!
Re: WTF capital one I received the same pre-approved for platinum card. It was in my maiden name and forwarded from my old address. I went ahead and applied on line and received the 7-10 day thingy. I called about a week later (they still hadn't pulled my reports) and was told that I was approved but they were not showing the credit limit (pre-approved letter said 300.00 - 3500.00) and that I would get that when I activated the card. About a week later I received the card, activated it and my CL was 2250.00. Oh, and they changed my name and address, no problem.
