    Yes, you are right. But my husband doesn't have any work experience with his degree nor a which is why we opted not to pursue that area of employment any longer.

    He needs a job that will at least bring home what he gets from unemployment. He will lose it once he starts working somewhere. He is hoping that he will get hired as a new car saleman since they train and work there until a job in IT comes along.

    Believe me, we have been around the bush about what the best course of action is and basically we are casting our net out trying to reel in whatever job opportunity we can catch.

    I hope that you don't think that I meant that in a negative way. I have already been accused of that once tonight! We went through the same thing before. My husband was laid off from a 60k plus position and had to take a job at a movie store till he found something different. If you don't mind me asking what is the cap on unemployment rate in your state? Back then here in MI it was 221 after taxes. Now that sucked!

    No, I wasn't taking it that way at all. I was just trying to explain a bit more.
