Congrats!!!! Hope to have mine in my hands by next week!!! I did a new version the BDD....got 2 citi AA silver...will combine as soon as the second one arrives...got one yesterday!!! It's so nice to see people or screen names I'm familiar with making progress along side of me or me along side of them...it's almost as if we're all back in HS...freshman(newbies) sophmores, juniors(I think that's us Love) and the Seniors (creditnet experts)...it's nice not to be alone on this gruesome journey!!!!!!!
Awwww, ya'll so sweet! Should have asked for a CL increase but did not want to push it. Doesn't platinum usually carry a CL of at least 5K?

EDIT: This is if you done the BDD...I wanted to ask if you guys got the letters in the mail about being denied b/c you applied w/in a 60-days time frame? ONLY to get your cards? Also.. how long does it take to get the card once your approved?
Martysgirl...here exactly what happened to me... I applied in the beginning of May...denied...because of CA on equifax... Asked for re-consideration...they said to send proof it was a dentist bill....possibly would over look it because they do sometimes over look old medical collections... sent fax Got letter a week later they wanted an updated equifax report showing no CA...hello couldn't do it and accepted the denial... Beginning of June...CA account deleted!!! Surprise and yippeeeeee...sent new fax and called for two days...still in processing....argh!! But it wasn't denied again!!! Decided I didn't care about another inq. was impatient went for the online app again...got the 7-10 notice.... Called...still pending on the original ref #...still pending on the new(used my ss#) argh then within two days the second app APPROVED!!!! Applied on line for Gold CitiAA...a delayed BDD I thought Called....rejected because of two many Citi cards...the original (back in may recons. approved-for the silver) They said another inq for the gold was not generated because it wouldn't take in the system...two were already there...checked equ and it didn't generate an inq for the gold... I applied for the second CitiAA on about 6/8 and received it yesterday...that was approved first...so now I'm waiting to get the second in order to combine into Platinum Select....Hopefully all works out.... BTW...the cl for each was $3500...so I should get $7000 PS ....fingers crossed!!!!!!

I converted my old Gold World AA for the Plat Select, I did not have to apply for it (hope they did not pull an inquiry, they did not mention one...) I am not sure what my score was when I initially got the account with Citi. I first got a regular Citi AA, then converted to the Gold World AA, then to Plat Select.
