I've just been upgraded to a totally unsecured product.. but they only gave me a $1500 limit.

I've saw a few people post high limits and high frequency of increases. What have you guys been doing to get increases.

I'm not particularly excited about a $1500 limit but now at least I can use some other the features on there website for traidtional cardholders.

Do you have a low score? Did you ask for more of a CL? Charlie

They started me off with $7700. (unsecure) That was with my bk still reporting.

Jake, run it up close to the limit, carry a balance for couple of months, then pay it all off at once. See if that gets you an increase.

Hey Breeze, how often did you see increases doing this?

Hey Breeze do you still have Pacer access??

Ok I haven't asked for more of a creditline but I'll give it a shot.

I got pretty regulat increases doing this - started with a $2,500 Titanium card (never had a secured card with anyone) a little over 2 yrs ago, now I have $8,000 CL. I haven't seen an increase since I got the $8,000 though. I have gotten some good BT deals for the asking instead. I just shift the balance around using it to get LOC increases.

Yes, I still have PACER access, if I can find my password, LOL.

Actually, anyone can get PACER - it doesn't cost anything to get an account - you only get charged for the pages you get.

I agree with Breeze. I had a DMB card with an initial credit line of $3500. I charged around $3300, paid it off, and than within a couple months, I got an automatic credit increase to $4600.
