get then from calling??? I own a small company of 52 employees and I am the owner--they are not calling me but rather calling my some of my employees--what law can I use to get them to stop calling from an employer's perpective or what words can I say?? Thanks!!

All you have to say is May I ask who is calling? Is this a company related call pertaining to your business? They will say no. Tell them that employees are not permitted to have personal calls and ask them not to call again.

Send them a Cease and Desist letter. Then you have them on violations. Charlie

Is this a business debt? unfortunately the FDCPA does not cover debt owed buy businesses. If it is than they can talk to your employees without violating the law

No, it is not a business debt--it is their own personal debt--thanks for the replies--

Hey y'all, he is saying that the collectors are calling his employees, employees owe the money, not him.

Good chance to advise them of their rights, hehe. Take a copy of the C&D letter and let them send it.
