Congrats Soup! Definitely better than a denial!

By the way, I read a post the other day, telling where you started (score-wise) and where you are now. You are definitely an inspiration to me. :)

Thanx I really appreciate that!! On the same token, there have been a few members here that have really inspired me to see it can be done...and when I thought about quitting...pushed me along...this board is fan-tastic!!!!!!!!!

Just think, soup, a year or so ago you would have paid big $$$$ to even have that for a CL. Sometimes we tend to forget where we were. Charlie

Sorry, I meant that last post in a good positive way not as an a-hole like it sounded. Charlie

Great going. Hope it serves you well. I found they
are quite tight when it comes to credit lines. They
gave me 1500 and the following month Target-RNB
gave me 10,000. I do have there QCARD and Best Buy and have had good CS. I closed their MC after
    that

I hear ya charlie...no offense taken!! Just last month I recall saying I'd do anything for just ONE prime card...thought I'd never get approved by the big guys like AMEX and Citi...now I"m just getting greedy!!!

Really need to make a list of what I have and start "smartly" closing the sub-primers...CCB hits the 2year mark in august...I think that's when I'll officially say "good bye"...providian's getsmart hits 1year in November...don't know if it's worth keeping the $500 open til then...I just wanna be done with subprime hell for good and leave no trace of it LOL..just don't want to kill my scores because they're my oldest tradelines

I'm not sure...it was in addition to the Best buy...had the option of also getting a regular type of MC from household...2 for 1 inq....

Thats what I thought.. Are you sure they only pulled one inq? I have seen others post that they pulled two.

Did you also apply for the Best Buy? If so, have they already made a decision as far as approval goes? I ask because the Best Buy and Household MC are 2 different products and they have pulled 2 for everybody that has applied for both.

LKH, yes...approved for Best Buy last week initial was $2500..called same day got another $1000...total was for $3500...it took a few days for my SS# to show up Household's system...I wonder if there might have been a glitch and that's why just the one inq...

Ok, this should be interesting. Equifax score is 693. I received the Household offer in the mail today. I did the online application. They offered a "free credit report" to see what they checked. You bet! They checked Equifax.
I have BK and a Judgement and a lien which is paid but doesn't show as such.
I wait with baited breath and see if I get approved! I will let ya'll know. :)

I applied for Best Buy, got $3500. I forgot I also checked the Masteer Card box, so was quite surprised when I recieved one of those "strange, thick envelopes." I got the Master Card with a $2000 limit.
