    Saar-
    A couple websites for you:

www.mousesavers.com they have coupon codes for the Disney hotels, you can get some really great deals.

www.disneyclub.com it's $40 for the card, but you save on park admission I beleive it's 5% off the price.

    Have fun!!!

Sorry still no help to your amex question.

If you're going to stay off-property, I'd highly recommend the Wyndham Palace right by Downtown Disney... have stayed there twice and was VERY pleased.

They offer a pkg with breakfast buffet included for about 149/night... VERY good service and within walking distance of Downtown Disney.

I saw several signs that said something about "Amex" benefit...but not having an AMEX card didn't really read the details. They claim Discover is the card of choice. However, we didn't carry cards with us, we stayed on Disney property and you can have a credit line added to your hotel room key, which makes it your not only your room key, pass to all the parks (park hopper pass) and your credit card. Then you only have to keep up with one card while walking around Disney and if you lose it you only have to notify the hotel immediately, not your credit card companies. The rooms have room safes so you can safely lock up all cards you don't want to carry around. I recommend staying "on property". We booked directly through Disney at the 800# and got a cheaper price than the website showed.

    Hi Christi! ALL!
Saar - when I was there, there was a huge advantage!
IF you had an AMEX card to purchase tickets, you stepped out of line and went directly to a special - line avoiding - window.

That was before I had AMEX - I remember it very clearly -

You also get 10% of purchases over $50 and a couple of souvenirs. I think there are also a few other benefits too.
    best regards.
