Actually I am, but they can't tell through a telephone. My 9 yr old answered and said the call was someone from Capital 'something'. As I walked to the phone she said she thought it was Capital One.... I thought, calling me???? Not quite dear, the telemarketer told me that they are Capital First. I 'recently applied for credit' and Capital First has approved me for a $2500 limit MasterCard. Fees... $19.95 shipping and handling (Huh?) and after my 30 day "free trial period" (for a MasterCard???) I will be charged $99.95 one time fee for account set up and $49.95 for annual fee. I didn't apply for generic credit.... What is my HH income? Do I have a checking acct? Then I qualify! (Yeah, right) Can we please have your checking acct number? Not on you life sweetie! Can we say *SCAM*!!!
VERY SMART MOVE. http://www.bbbsoutheastflorida.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&strBCode=06330000&ComID=0633000031000480
Good for you. First they say you are 'approved', then when they need your other information, you suddenly 'qualify' for their card. You are so right. SCAM.
