    Psychdoc,

I've seen your nutcase letter. I want to use it, but I think that I need to modify it for my own needs. I have an old student loan that I no longer owe money on. It's from USA Funds and it appears on my credit report as "Payment after charge off/collection" (TU) and "Student Loan - Paid collection" (Equifax, Experian). My question is: How would I modify the nutcase letter so that I can persuade USA Funds have these accounts deleted? Please help me. Thanks.

The first time I used the nutcase letter was with fully-paid PHEAA student loan tradelines. That first version was the very one I sent. Good luck with it!

How did you go about getting it notarized?

most bank branches have someone in-house who is also a notary. Print out your letter(s), take it, and ID, to your local bank, and tell them you'd like to have something notarized. They will most likely lead you to a customer service agent who is a notary, and they will ask to see ID and perhaps to have you sign the letter in person. It was always free for me. A 1-minute process. Good luck!

The county court clerk also will have a member of their staff available to notarize documents free of charge.
