What are good cards to apply for (online preferably) with the following scores: Equifax - 606 TransUnion - 568 Experian - 547
Chances for an unsecured cc with those scores are not good. I think you should try for a secured card with Cap. 1 and work your way up from there. Best regards, Mirage
You might be able to get an Orchard Bank MC (www.orchardbank.com) with those scores, although Cap 1 secured really is your best bet.
I guess I failed to mention that I already have the following: Cross Country - $1050 limit (had a year w/ 2 credit limit increases) Centennial Visa - 1 year $350 limit Centennial MC - 6 months $350 limit Orchard Secured - 1 year, 5 months - $500 limit Get Smart - 7 months - $1000 limit **All have perfect pay histories, but about 80% used on 3 of the cards** Just wanted to see if I could expand to the prime market.
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha Really?? You think with my scores I could get an UNsecured?? Has anyone else been sucessful in getting one with these HIDEOUS scores?? I would REALLY like to start building some POSITIVE tradelines...I have NONE...thanks!
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha I don't think so. Why would they do that? MAYBE if she paid in FULL for the charge off they would give him/her a SECURED.
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha Even the secured card from C1 isn't like other secured cards from other banks. You'll most likely have to put down $49 or $99 for a limit from $200 to $500. Not too bad considering there are no application fees, processing fees, and AMF is usually $29. APR will be 19.8%
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha I don't know if you have a Cap1 charge-off account with them. Try Household or orchard Bank. Ron.
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha So,,,you think I should bite the bullet and try for a secured? Or should I wait to talk to Mr. Cooke? He e-mailed me after I PFB'd, saying I should call him...advice welcomed!
Re: Credit Cards w/ Good Apprvl Cha I missed the post where you said you have a charge off with them. Now is this paid or unpaid? If it's unpaid, forget about applying for a card. If it's paid, then at least wait until you talk to Mr. Cooke, tell him that you'd like to open a secured card to start rebuilding your credit, and take it from there.
