I recently reviewed my credit reports, to find a judgement for medical bills on there. They were paid off before the court date, and i have proof. Plus,i have i discharge paper from the court house. The reports now say that the are satisfied, but they were discharged..is there any way to remove them from my credit??
although there is a California Supreme Court decision that "requires" CRAs to include the data you have in their decision to delete, 99% of the time they will tell you that it is public record and until it is satisfied with the court, they will not change it. You have 2 choices, sue the CRA and force them to delete or file a motion to vacate the judgment and provide the documentation to the judge.
