I have been trying to contact them regarding my account for over a week. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. It keeps playing a recording that says that they are experiencing technical difficulties and to call back. Then the phone disconnects!

What is going on with them?

I did check their website, but I was trying to get a credit line increase.

I was also curious, cause people on this board last week were saying that they heard they weren't licensed and that they couldn't reach them either.

I got through to someone to get a credit line increase (a measly $100 bucks). This was maybe two or three weeks ago, though...

Really? They aren't very generous with increases huh? How long have you had their card?

I actually have two of their cards: the blue one with the bridge on it, and their horrifically tacky "gold" card (not the more subtle one currently seen on their website). I called for increases on about the seventh month for the both of them, and each time they only gave $100. The csr wasn't allowed to give more, and I really didn't feel like escalating the issue.

I have that awful gold card too. What is up with that anyway? The one on the website looks tons better. This one looks so generic!

Yes, if the Dollar General store had a charge card, this is what it would look like.

Luckily, they've phased that one out for the one you now see on their web site. The csr said that when you're issued a new card on your anniversary, you should see the new one.
