Last week I posted about a letter I received from an OC that I had disputed an account with. They wanted me to send them a signed letter in order for them to start the dispute.

Today I pulled a copy of my Experian report and the account no longer shows in dispute, is shows unchanged.

What is going on here? How could they verify it, when I got that letter less than a week ago and never even responded.

    What do I do now?

What letter? Who, huh? I must have missed your previous post(s) about this issue.

Wait a minute, you disputed the debt, they want what signed letter? You already sent them one? Then they placed it verifyed?

I think what she's saying is, she dispute the account through the CRA. CRA contacted the OC asking if the account was being reported correctly. OC, sends her a letter asking her to initiate a dispute through them (directly), and for whatever reason, want/require a signature. In the meantime, 30 days come and go, the OC has not heard back from her, so they go ahead and verify the account with CRA. It's not like she was dealing with a CA who she sent a validation request to initially, THEN disputed through CRA, which would have locked the CA into 30 days to produce validation, and if not, would (legally anyway) have to delete.
