Okay this is the second time that the initial at the end of the log on have been the trick. LKH, you have considerably more inquiries than I do. Why don't they suggest this to everyone with this problem? I don't get it!

Mine shows "Summary: 172" so I should be locked out soon.

Clearly, Breeze's web site idea is the way to go. Even if $10 (for domain registration) is nothing, she shouldn't be the only one paying this.

Everyone willing to share the cost please post and say so. We can probably paypal her $1 each.

Ok: Comparing my EFX reports through CW confirms that indeed, the more I pull my report, the more INQs are disappearing. My inquiries always seem to range from 170 to 172, where newly added disclosure INQs are offset by old (hard & soft) INQs being purged.

Sorry. I don't have the name.

This may very well be it.

You said they purge INQs older than 45 days. Perhaps the problem can be duplicated whenever there are no longer 45 day-old INQs to remove (i.e. when new disclosure INQs are added, but there are no old INQs [>45 days] to remove)?

    Just a thought.

Hmmmmm, I have tons of them over 45 days old. They haven't been removing any.

Maybe your file is otherwise bigger than average. How old is the earliest hard INQ shown on your report?

August 2000 oldest hard inquiry - 14 total hard inq's

248 total including all the ID's, AR's PRM's, and CD's, and a couple of complete reinvestigations.

I still have plenty of old inquiries as well, dating back to August 2000. But as of this morning, my account MAGICALLY works again! Hey, whattayaknow, a few kind words ;) and they fix my account. No inquiry removals I can tell though, but wait, my account did say 187 inqs last Monday and still said 187 after I pulled today. I'll try again for the next 2 days and see if that number changes.

    Breeze -

Have you tried to access your account today? I hadn't tried all weekend due to an addition to our family (I have a new niece!). I'm still concerned with other customers and will go forward with the website if there's need for it. I also think they're trying to downplay a serious issue by stating it's only happened to 'you'. I have a few bucks I can donate to the cause...

My account is hanging in the 150's for # of inquiries. So about 25 days and another hard inquiry may fall off!

We may be in "The Club". Keep pulling and give it a few days. At least I HOPE we're in.... ;)

Hmmm.... No deletions today. INQ "summary" just increased by 2, from 171 to 173.

Hell, I can't even access my account yet today. I keep getting the 'busy system' message from the 'let the Equifax BS...' thread.
