ok... here is a summery of my Equifax report.... as you can see it is a mess but many of them are old and many of them are for very small amounts (under 100) At least one have been paid off. (#14/16)

should I treat account with two time lines as two indiviual accounts?

My guess for now is the write Verification letters to Equifax for the older/smaller accounts.. The report I got didn;t give me full info like the address of the account holders or the full account numbers... OH well.. any advice would help...

Tried to get secured card from Capital One. Paid on-time for a year or two to rebuild your credit history.

I have the Cap One secured card covered...

My Cap one car d(4 months old) and my Military Uniform Store card are my only good markings on my credit report.... :(
My wife will make me an AU on her visa as well to help build (rebuild my credit)

My Equifax report is the worst as far as how many people reported to it.. EP has about 12 things I need to delete or modify and TU has about

Capital One secured is a good step. Then Demand validation. Any thing that comes back as validated, offer up the settlement letter. Be sure to demand deletion for payment.

At the same time you dispute the items as not mine, over 7 yrs. If it came back as unverifable items, they will delete it. May be you get another secured card from other bank like Orchard Bank.

dispute everything over seven years... then dispute negs with cra's. I would do three at a time. (no scientific reason, but you gotta start somewhere). I would pursue validation on ca accounts ( I actually would start with ca accounts rather than oc.).

oh, yes, I would immediately do something on the student loans. I would try for a retroactivit forbearance to get them out of default status maybe... I would work on repayment options. they do not go away easy and you do not want income tax seized or garnishment!

OH Speaking of my Student loans...

    I have three..

FED Loan (recently paid off by my folks but still in credit report as neg)

    NYS State Loan
Not paid off yet ( I have the full funds to pay but I want to work out a deal to get this off my report before I pay)

University Loan (Paid of in full by my folks but still shows as Derog in my report)

I am finding out what to do with my NYS Loan ( By the way that have been taking my Fed Income Tax return for the past three years)

but what are my choices for the loans already paid?
would a Nutcase letter be a good option for that? or something else?

If they are taking your irs refunds....then up your exemptions so you get no refunds. You can declare up to 10 exemptions on a w-4 without any explanation....many times it is better to owe the irs than to let someone take your refund money.

    Just a suggestion.
