If you go to the Cit website, they show a woman grinning and eating a watermelon. What's the deal with that? Is that just for us folks in the south. or do the rest of you get it too?
no it's just what you feel like doing (spitting seeds everywhere) when you get off the phone with their student loan customer service reps
Don't people up north eat watermelon? and savor it... LOL. If not, you yanks are missing something!!!
I get a sailboat with this caption: Renting it for the day may satisfy the urge to buy it. Yeah right!!! Could it be I'm from the Great Lakes State. Go Blue
I checked www.citibank.com and www.citigroup.com and I cannot see the watermelon or the watermelon lady anywhere.... And yes, people here (mid-atlantic) do eat watermelon...
I went to citicards.com and saw the watermelon lady. I've seen it before, too. I guess I just never paid it much attention. I'm in the South now, but I grew up in Cali and Michigan. People eat watermelon everywhere, although I'm not sure they're as happy about it as she is. (Maybe they're marketing to your subnet... they see Bellsouth or another major southern network... they shoot up a watermelon on the screen! LOL!)
Got it. I got to see the watermelon woman. She does look happy. The picture is black and white, I wonder how red is her watermelon... I guess their ad idea is that savor every minute so you can get time to enjoy things like watermelon. So, I do not see it as a southern or northern thing. By the way, citicards.com will re-direct you to this url: https://www.citibank.com/us/cards/index.htm
christi, I am on east as well. They have multiple pictures. When you get to the webpage with the sail boat, just refresh your browser and you should be able to see the watermelon. In addition, I will share a secret: Following the trace of increased interest from credit netters and other consumers, citi bank has made a decision to request cra's to grant an addition of 2 points to your fico, everytime you view a watermelon... LOL just kidding.
I got the watermelon lady, I have never before scrolled down beyond the sign in space.Gee-- look what I've been missing!!!
THEY READ CREDITNET??? I want my interest rate reduced to the BEST (PRIME + 0.90%)...PRIME + 3.90% AINT' GOOD ENOUGH...I ALSO WANT MY LIMIT $20,000 MIN...AND MY 0.00% EXTENDED TILL LATE 2003...
